ダイセンシジミの翅裏は赤褐色地に白条紋が走るが、北の地で出会う個体はこの白条紋が乱れるものが多い。この蝶の紋多型から北の地(岩手県)に来たことを実感できるな。
The underside of the wings of the Alphabetical Hairstre is reddish-brown with white stripes, but in the northern regions, many individuals have irregular white stripes. Observing this pattern polymorphism in these butterflies, I can truly feel that I am in the northern region (Iwate Prefecture).
